DAYTON, Ohio —
Arnold is the Dayton mother who was convicted of killing her baby by putting her in a microwave oven.
She is appealing her conviction and the case is now before the Montgomery County Court of Appeals.
Tuesday morning, her attorney, Jon Paul Rion, apparently fainted in the courtroom and now the case is delayed until later in the afternoon.
A News Center 7 camera was in the courtroom when Rion passed out cold and fell to the floor. Several people ran to him and got him back on his feet.
This, of course, caused a courtroom delay while everyone tried to find out if the attorney needed an ambulance.
Then, another delay was announced saying the case would be moved to later in the afternoon on Tuesday to give Rion and everyone else time to get back on track.
The case is expected to start up again at 2:30 p.m.
