By Steve Baker

MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio —

A barn, in the process of being torn down, was destroyed by fire Saturday morning near Pleasant Hill in Miami County.

The fire happened at 1900 N. Rangeline Road.

According to fire officials, a person working on the demolition of the barn started a fire for warmth. That is when the winds spread the flames to the remaining section of the barn that was still standing.

No one was injured in the fire.

Firefighters from Pleasant Hill, Ludlow Falls and Laura responded to the mid-morning alarm.
