BEAVERCREEK, Ohio —

Kroger gets approval to build a new super-sized grocery store in Beavercreek.

The new Kroger Marketplace will be built on the site of the current Beavercreek store at the intersection of Dayton-Xenia and North Fairfield roads.

On Monday night, city council members approved the building of the 128,000-square-foot store.

The new store will feature a coffee shop, gas station, small appliances and an expanded deli section.

The project is expected to be finished in the spring of 2010.
