Cold temps stick around through weekend

By Breaking News Staff

SOUTHWEST OHIO —

As March begins, temperatures will feel more like the beginning of February with highs in the mid 30s expected in the region, Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said.

Temperatures tonight will dip into the low 20s with a few flurries possible.

The chance for flurries remains in the forecast through tomorrow as highs will be near the freezing mark, according to Wirdzek.

Sunday will bring more sun to the region and high temperatures will be near freezing.

Any snow that does fall will not accumulate on area roads, Wirdzek said.

Snow is possible Monday night, said Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs. There may be a few inches of accumulation in the southern area of Southwest Ohio.
