Bomb Squad Responds To Dayton Neighborhood

DAYTON, Ohio —

The Dayton Bomb Squad removed an explosive device from a house Friday night.

A family living on Marchmont Drive was cleaning out their house and found what they throught was a grenade, crews said. A family member took the device out of the house, put it on the front lawn and called the police.

The Dayton Bomb Squad responded to the house and removed the device to another location to safely dispose of it.
