Broken Water Line Leaves Cedarville Without Water

CEDARVILLE, Ohio —

A water main break in the village of Cedarville has left almost everyone in the small community without water.

The break happened just after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

At this time, the only group of people who have running water are at Cedarville University. Village officials said they do not know what caused the water line to break.

According to the village, the water line broke in the downtown area near Main Street and Chillicothe Street. News Center 7 was told, at one point, the water was a foot high in the downtown area.

The village of Cedarville is doing everything it can to get the water line fixed and the water back on for residents.
