BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio —
However, Neely said prison is not good enough for Samuel Littleton, charged with murder in the death of Tiffany Brown.
"I would love to see him get the death penalty and I would love to push the button," Neely said. "I hate his guts. He makes me sick with everything in his whole being, and I hope he gets what he deserves."
Neely said she dated Littleton for 18 years and shared a home with in in Bellefontaine until Tiffany's body was found in the basement of that house. It was a house they purchased from Richard and Gladis Russell, a missing elderly couple from Logan County.
"I knew that's where he would go because he has no friends," said Neely.
Authorities believe Littleton went to the Russell's home just before fleeing the area.
Neely said she had a conversation with Littleton just before he was named a suspect and took off. .
"He said that he was going to the cops and that he was going to talk to him and clear his name," said Neely. "You think you know somebody. We all trusted him and look what we got." .
Now Samuel Littleton is fighting extradition back to Ohio to face charges of murder, felonious assault, tampering with evidence and gross abuse of a corpse.
"He's got to answer to his crime back here," said Neely. "He'll have to come back here sooner or later."
She believes her daughter's death was the result of a surprise encounter. "If he was doing something that she walked in on, then he knew that she would tell me. That's the only thing that I could think of. But, he will answer to me one day. He'll have to face me and God help him," said Neely.
In the meantime, the family is taking care of Tiffany's two sons and looking for help to heal.
Neely said, "I'll never be able to trust anybody ever, let alone ever have them around my other daughter. And that's sad that you have to live the rest of your life like that because you can't trust."
