Car Slams Into Pole, Causing Power Outage

BELLBROOK, Ohio —

Police in Bellbrook said a car slammed into a power pole, causing a huge power outage.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Friday near the intersection of Route 725 and Regent Park Drive. Investigators said the driver was not injured.

Crews from Dayton Power and Light said about 2,000 homes in Bellbrook and Centerville lost power.
