Cash, Basketball Tickets Stolen From Dayton High School

DAYTON, Ohio —

More than $6,000 in cash and basketball tickets were stolen from Dunbar High School.

Police said someone broke into the athletic department during school hours Wednesday.

The thieves took 1,000 gray-colored tickets for Monday's game against Tippecanoe at Wright State.

But school officials said all gray tickets that were sold prior to the theft have been replaced with yellow tickets.

Officials said all gray tickets are now void and will not be honored at Monday's game.

Only the yellow tickets will be honored.

Officers don't have any suspects at this time, and they said they haven't figured out how the thief got to the cash and tickets.
