Celina Man Found Dead At Home

CELINA, Ohio —

The Celina Police Department is investigating a suspicious death that was reported on Sunday at 2:21 p.m.

Officers were called to the residence at 207 Dogwood Court in response to a squad call of a non-breathing victim. Officers and squad members arrive to find that the victim, Bradley D. Heckman, 38, of 119 Longview Court, St. Marys, Ohio, had apparently died sometime overnight.

There were indications that the victim may have succumbed to an overdose of prescription medication.

Heckman’s body was transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office where an autopsy was performed on Monday morning.

Results of that autopsy, including toxicology reports, will not be complete for approximately six weeks.

The Celina Police Department is continuing their investigation into the incident.
