Census Bureau Data Shows Dayton Losing Residents

DAYTON, Ohio —

The city of Dayton continues to lose residents, according to new data released by the census bureau.

The data shows that the city has lost 3.6 percent of its population. That amounts to more than 1,500 people.

The largest percentage loss by other communities was Oakwood, which lost 4.3 percent. Cincinnati, Cleveland and Toledo also lost residents.

The new data shows that Springboro was the fastest-growing city and village in the Miami Valley.
