Staff Report
A 37-year-old employee of the Red House Chinese restaurant told Dayton police on Monday he was taking the garbage out when two people pointed guns at his head and robbed him.
Police responded to the restaurant, located at 3221 North Main St., around 10 p.m. The suspects showed semi-automatic handguns, according to the employee, and were dressed in all black. They had their faces covered, he said.
According to a police report obtained Tuesday, the two suspects stole his iPhone and $500 that belonged to the restaurant. The employee’s wallet was also taken. The suspects hopped a nearby fence and fled the scene.
A K-9 unit responded to the scene but was unable to track a scent. The investigation is ongoing.
