Erica Richardson gave WSU a quick 2-0 lead with a jumper 15 seconds into the contest, only to see CSU scored the next nine points, seven of those coming from Kailey Klein.

Cleveland State extended the lead into double figures on a Shawnita Garland jumper at the 10:20 mark and led 32-18 at the half.

The Vikings led by as much as 19 on three different occasions early in the second half, but the Raiders chipped away and only trailed 54-46 after a Maria Bennett three with 5:59 to play.

An Angel Roque three and a Janelle Adams basket, however, pushed the margin back into double figures to stay.

Wright State shot 44 percent for the game, including 59 percent in the second half, while Cleveland State was also at 44 percent.

The Vikings, though, hit 13 of 20 foul shots compared to nine of 13 for the Raiders and led in points in the paint (34-26), points off of turnovers (20-14) and second-chance points (18-4) as they held a 38-21 rebounding edge, including 17-4 on the offensive end.

Richardson led the Raiders with 14 points while Molly Fox and Bennett had 11 and nine off the bench, respectively. Ta-myra Davis also scored nine points.

Klein posted a double-double of 25 points and 14 rebounds for Cleveland State (15-12, 10-6 Horizon) while Stephanie Crosley had 12.
