TROY —

The Goodrich Corporation is adding jobs to its operation in Troy.

About 10 full-time positions will be available at the company's aircraft, wheels and brakes headquarters, located at 101 Waco St.

The company is seeking production team leaders, supply chain professionals and engineers at salaries ranging from $65,000 to $90,000 and higher. It anticipates ongoing recruitment, especially of engineers, throughout 2011.

Goodrich, which specializes in aircraft braking systems, currently employs 690 people in Troy and 700 elsewhere. The company said it also has additional job openings in Dallas; Wichita, Kan.; Los Angeles; Pueblo, Colo.; and Spokane, Wash.

All jobs require a bachelor's degree and relevant experience. Some openings have specific skill set requirements, such as experience with simulation software and project management, AutoCAD, lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.

"We try to create an environment with mutual trust and respect," said Christy Stringer, Goodrich's manager of talent management. "Employees trusting management, management trusting employees. Making positive assumptions about people. We're really trying to drive employee engagement."
