I-75 reopens following early morning crash photo
Both sides of I-75 downtown were closed early Tuesday morning after a southbound car hit a temporary barrier and knocked it into the northbound lanes. A semi then hit that barrier, went out of control, and knocked other barriers into the southbound lanes. Three people suffered minor injuries.

DAYTON —

An emergency lane closure is in effect from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Interstate 75 southbound between Monument Avenue and U.S. 35.

The closure is necessary to repair the glare shield on the barrel wall following a multiple vehicle crash early this morning, according to Mandi Abner the Ohio Department of Transportation.

A vehicle knocked a construction barrier into the northbound lane where it was struck by a semi.

Two lanes of traffic will remain open to southbound motorists at all times.
