KETTERING: Busy Intersection Opened After Serious Crash
Timothy Grice, 20, of Miamisburg ran from the scene of the crash, but officers arrested him close to the scene of the collision. Witnesses identified Grice as the truck's operator.
Cross was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he died a few hours later from injuries suffered in the crash, Kettering police said.
Grice is being held in the Kettering City Jail on a charge of aggravated vehicular homicide. The case will be presented to the Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office for formal charges.
Officers suspect Grice had been drinking and was speeding at the time of the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
