Crashes Involving Deer Have Police Concerned

Related

Eight auto accidents involving deer have all happened within the last four days.

Beavercreek police said that number is high and it has them worried.

The most recent accident happened on North Fairfield Road.

Sgt. Gary Spangler with Beavercreek police advises drivers to take extra caution on the roadways during fall.

He said, "It is much better to keep going straight, hit the deer if you have to, it's much better than hitting another car and causing serious injuries."

Remember if you hit a deer, any damage to your car over $400 must be reported.
