DAYTON —

Emergency crews used equipment to remove the driver of a vehicle that crashed into a tree on Edwin C. Moses Boulevard.

The Gold Impala sustained heavy damages in the single-vehicle crash that occurred around 7 p.m. near the West Riverview Avenue intersection.

Crews removed the driver from the wreckage and the person was still being treated at the scene at 7:30 p.m.

The crash has temporarily blocked southbound traffic on Edwin C. Moses.
