Three people were taken to Miami Valley Hospital on Thursday night following a two-vehicle accident on Union-Schoolhouse Road at Valley Pike.

According to Riverside police, a silver Dodge Stratus headed east on Valley tried to turn left onto Union-Schoolhouse and collided head-on with a blue Ford headed west on Valley.

The driver of the Stratus had no driver’s license and a preliminary investigation further revealed that the driver failed to yield the right of way, according to police at the scene.

That driver, who was not identified by age or gender, would be cited to court, the officer said.

The two males and female who were identified as the victims suffered what are believed to be minor injuries, according to the officer. It was not immediately clear which cars the injured parties were in.

Police and rescue units were dispatched to the area just after 10:30 p.m.
