Another threat found at Baker Middle School

By Breaking News Staff

FAIRBORN —

There apparently was another threatening message found at Baker Middle School on Monday, the second such incident in the last six days.

Officials with Fairborn City Schools, the school or the police offered no details about the message were made available.

Attempts to interview officials with those agencies were unsuccessful.

According to the district, which issued a press release after 4 p.m. Monday, there will be “an extra police presence” at the school Tuesday morning, and “new safety procedures will be in place and reviewed with all students.”

The district offered no details about those procedures.

On Tuesday, Feb. 19, a non-specific threatening message was found in a restroom at the school.

“The district has no reason to believe this is a true threat, or that there is any danger to students or staff,” according to a statement the district issued stemming from that threat.
