WEST MANCHESTER, Preble County —
Sheriff’s deputies are on the lookout for the man who robbed the United Midwest Savings Bank of an undisclosed amount of money on Thursday morning.
The robber, described as white, approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall and 150 pounds with beard stubble, walked into the bank, at U.S. 127 and Scott Street, at 10:24 a.m.
He demanded money from the cashier and left. He was wearing blue jeans, a tan winter vest with a blue and red stripe across the back, a blue long-sleeve shirt and blue stocking cap, according to the Preble County Sheriff’s Office.
He was possibly armed when he entered the bank although no weapon was shown, according to the sheriff’s office.
The robber fled before deputies and a K-9 unit from Eaton arrived on a report of an armed robbery, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office asks anyone who may have seen anything or who has information about the incident to call (937) 456-6262.
