At least three residences were hit by bullets late Sunday night as two men being shot at ran through several yards on Burwood Avenue.

Police responded to the 700 block of Burwood at about 10 p.m. where one neighbor reported a single bullet came through the wall and another said three bullets entered their residence. A third neighbor would call to report a bullet hole in her wall Monday morning and police were reportedly back on the block at about noon today looking at a vacant structure that had been hit at least six times.

According to police reports, two young men said they had gotten off of a bus at the corner and were walking down Burwood when a man in black car started shooting at them. They ran through several yards to escape and only came back to find a cell phone they had dropped.

They did not indicate why someone may have been shooting at them and did not provide a description of the suspect, according to the report.
