DAYTON —

A 49-year-old man told police he was robbed and beaten with a brick Sunday morning in his apartment on Arnold Place.

Dayton police responded to the address at about 11:30 a.m. A neighbor directed police to the apartment in which the incident is said to have occurred.

The man, who was not identified by name, told police he was robbed of $21 and was beaten on the head with a brick while complying with the robber’s requests for the money.

The robber, who was only described as a male between 18 and 20 years old, dragged the man through his apartment.

The assailant was wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans, according to the victim. No arrests have been made, police said.
