LUCASVILLE —

A Trotwood man has been charged with felony drug possession following a traffic stop in central Ohio for speeding.

A trooper with the Ohio Highway Patrol arrested Anthony Malone, 42, on Monday night after he was stopped on U.S. 23 near Portsmouth.

Troopers found 16 grams of heroin during a search of Malone’s 2004 Jeep Cherokee, according to the OSP.

The heroin had an estimated street value of $2,400, according to the patrol.

Malone is in the Scioto County Jail.
