Police investigating west side shooting

DAYTON —

One man was shot Monday night on Wesleyan Road in Dayton in what police described as a domestic incident.

Dayton Police homicide detectives are investigating the shooting that injured 22-year-old Ryan Jamel Jones. He was shot in the neck and taken to Miami Valley Hospital, where his condition was unavailable on Tuesday morning.

Police said he is expected to recover from his injuries.

The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. at 1700 Wesleyan Road.

Police said the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between two individuals in a relationship.
