By Breaking News Staff

FAIRBORN —

A non-specific threatening message has been found in a restroom at Baker Middle School on Tuesday afternoon.

“The district has no reason to believe this is a true threat, or that there is any danger to students or staff,” according to a statement issued by Fairborn City Schools.

The district will increase the police presence on and around the school campus, according to the district.

Superintendent Dave Scarberry said the district takes all threats very seriously and his office is working with Fairborn police in the investigation of the discovery.

Parents and students who believe they have information that would help in the investigation are encouraged to contact the the police department, the district said in its statement.
