Police said a shooting overnight has left a lot of questions after the victim was found in one spot and the alleged weapon found in another.

The shooting happened around 3:30 a.m. in the 500 block of Leland Avenue. Police said that is where they found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot in the chest.

Investigators said three blocks away they found a gun that is believed was used to shoot the teen. Medics took the victim to a local hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
