Dayton Urban League Holds Job Fair

DAYTON, Ohio —

A Dayton organization helped job seekers find potential employers.

The Dayton Urban League hosted a job fair on Wednesday at its headquarters and officials said there were plenty of people looking for work.

The Urban League operates a job readiness program and officials decided to expand it to help people connect with potential employers.

Yvette Kelly-Fields, Director of Development said, ""We recognize the unemployment rate continues to increase in the Montgomery county area. The Dayton Urban League works closely with especially those displaced by manufacturing jobs."

Dayton Urban League leaders said the job fair was so successful, they plan to hold another one very soon.
