Deputies Investigating Shooting In Harrison Township

Related

A man was shot on a Harrison Township street Monday night and deputies said it could be a case of road rage.

The shooting happened at the intersection of Turner Road and North Main Street.

Deputies said the victim told them he had a verbal altercation with at least two people in another vehicle.

When both vehicles stopped at the intersection, shots rang out.

One of those shots hit the victim.

A deputy heard shots fired in the area and was looking for the source when he said he found the victim.

Investigators believe the victim drove home then tried to drive himself to the hospital.

He was removed to a local hospital with injuries authorities said are not life threatening.

The other vehicle is described as a relatively new, light blue sport utility vehicle.

If you have information about the incident, call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 225-HELP.
