WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP —

Deputies are looking for a suspect in an early Saturday morning home invasion at the Chesapeake Landing Apartments.

Just after midnight, deputies were called to 1860 Seabreeze Court where a man reportedly forced his way into an apartment. The woman inside the apartment said the man assaulted her and a male occupant. Deputies said the male victim had been pistol-whipped, and suffered facial and head injuries. He was transported to a local hospital.

Deputies asked for assistance from Miamisburg police, and set up a track with a K-9. The dog was unable to get a scent.

They said the man who broke into the apartment took off in a car, and remains at large.

Deputies describe the man as a 29-year-old black male, 5’9”, and weighing around 200 pounds. They believe he left the area in a silver-color Pontiac G-6.
