ENGLEWOOD, Ohio —

Christopher Kelly, 20 of Dayton, was arrested Tuesday by Englewood police for his role in a 7-month-old robbery.

The robbery happened at the Steak-n-Shake restaurant on North Main Street on May 12.

Police said Kelly was one of two suspects who robbed the business and patrons at gunpoint in the early morning hours. Three employees and three customers were there at this time, but no one was injured.

Police said Kelly was identified as a suspect soon after the crime, but was ultimately tied to the case through DNA evidence.

Detectives have strong leads to identify the second suspect and are continuing their investigation.

Kelly is being held at the Montgomery County Jail, awaiting arraignment later today.
