Driver arrested for DUI after rollover crash

CLAY TWP., Montgomery County —

Police arrested a driver involved in a Thursday morning crash on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

According to police, Matthew Farmer, 28, of Indiana, was driving north on North Diamond Mill around 3:20 a.m., when he lost control and went off the road. The vehicle then rolled into a field and the driver jumped out and fled the scene on foot, police said. 

Farmer was located walking on Phillipsburg-Union Road, where he was arrested for DUI.

Medics took a passenger, Jeremy Issacs, 40, also of Indiana, to Miami Valley Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Farmer faces charges of failure to control and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
