CAMDEN, Ohio —
The crash happened just after midnight at the intersection of Camden-West Elkton Road and Wayne Trace Road outside the village of Camden.
The Ohio State Patrol said Michael Settles, 46, was headed eastbound when he went off the right side of the road, overcorrected and hit a utility pole.
Sgt. Darren Weathington said, “We believe speed is a factor, along with alcohol.”
Troopers said Settles’ injuries are not life-threatening. He now faces a charge of OVI.
