NEW LEBANON —

A man was injured when he drove left of center and struck a semi tractor trailer on East Main Street.

The 400 block of East Main was shut down temporarily as New Lebanon fire and rescue crews and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash around 9:45 a.m.

Authorities said a westbound minivan struck the trailer of an eastbound semi then came to rest after striking a pole.

Rescue personnel extricated the male driver of the minivan and he was conscious when taken to Miami Valley Hospital.

The minivan’s driver will likely be cited for going left of center, authorities said.
