Englewood Hotel Receives Bomb Threat

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio —

Police and a K-9 unit were called to an Englewood hotel after getting reports of a bomb threat.

Officers were called to the Best Western Hotel on Rockridge Road after workers said they received a call, saying there was a bomb in one of the rooms.

Several rooms were evacuated as officers searched for the explosive device, but nothing was found.

According to police, hotel workers said they had been having problems with a guest who they believe may have made the call.

Police said the guest is a 36-year-old man from North Carolina who had been at the hotel a couple of days. He was questioned and ordered not to come back to the hotel or he could be charged with trespassing.
