FAIRBORN —
An employee at Roush’s Restaurant was stabbed during a robbery Friday night.
Fairborn police responded at approximately 8:12 p.m. to the restaurant, at 305 W. Main St.
Employees there told police a man wearing a mask and carrying a knife robbed the place then stabbed an employee while getting away, according to Fairborn police.
The suspect, described as white, wearing a black coat, dark clothing and gloves, left the location running north on Third Street. A Greene County K-9 unit responded but was unable to track the suspect.
The employee who was stabbed was taken by Fairborn medics to Miami Valley Hospital, where he is in stable condition, according to Fairborn police.
Officers were seen taking photos inside the restaurant around the cash register area.
Officers also escorted restaurant employees to their cars.
