TIPP CITY, Ohio —

Deputies in Miami County said they have confiscated 70 marijuana plants from a home in Tipp City.

Deputies issued a search warrant for a home at the intersection of Shoshoni Way and Arapaho Trail on Tuesday morning.

Stanley Street, 50, and Aaron Street, 21, both appeared in Miami County Court on Wednesday morning and were arraigned on charges of cultivating marijuana. Both of them received a $5,000 cash bond.

Lt. Steve Lord said, “This is somewhat of an elaborate indoor growing operation.”

Deputies said over 100 marijuana plants were seized and valued at $1,000 each. They also took growing equipment out of the house.

Investigators said Stanley Street and Aaron Street were taken into custody. They are being held in the Miami County Jail.

The seizure remains under investigation. Deputies said additional charges may be filed.
