DAYTON, Ohio —

Federal authorities believe a dangerous fugitive is living in the Miami Valley. Tri Huynh is wanted in California on murder charges.

On Monday night, NewsCenter 7 reported that Tri Huynh is believed to be traveling with Viet Huynh who was arrested and was wanted on attempted murder charges.

Federal authorities said the men are wanted fugitives and are affiliated with nail salons. Tri Huynh may have been working at a local nail salon, possibly at the Dayton Mall, according to the marshal’s office.

Tri Huynh is 29 years old and is Vietnamese.

Authorities believe Tri Huynh was traveling with Viet Huynh. They said Viet Huynh was first spotted on Sunday at a home in Miami Township.

Investigators said both men were in a dangerous gang in California called Tiny Rascals. William Taylor with the U.S. Marshals Office said, “Everything I’ve read, they are involved in narcotics trafficking and weapons violations. Both men have extensive criminal records.”

If you have any information on Tri Huynh’s whereabouts, contact the U.S. Marshals Office at 225-2917. Authorities consider him armed and dangerous.
