Fire Damages Dayton Home; Blaze Appears Suspicious

DAYTON, Ohio —

Dayton investigators are looking into an early-morning house fire.

The fire happened around 4 a.m. in the 300 block of Xenia Avenue. Investigators said a woman and four children were on the second floor of the house when they heard the fire alarm and crawled out a window to safety.

Fire crews are calling the fire, which was contained to the first floor, suspicious.

No one was injured in the fire. Investigators said the house suffered minor damage.
