Fire Damages Miami County Barn

MIAMI COUNTY, Ohio —

Fire investigators from Bethel Township in Miami County are investigating the cause of a fire that destroyed a barn. The scene was 7245 Singer Road near the Miami-Montgomery County line. The time of the alarm was midnight. A neighbor made the call to 911.

Miami County deputies identified the owner of the barn as Megan Black.

All the farm animals, except to two pigs, made it out of the burning building. They included other pigs, sheep, chickens and cows.

Firefighters from neighboring Huber Heights, Vandalia, Christiansburg, Casstown, Bethel Township-Clark County and New Carlisle provided mutual aid.

There were no injuries.
