TROTWOOD —

Investigators are looking into what started a fire Tuesday night that damaged a home in the 4600 block of Wolf Creek Pike.

The residents had just left the home when neighbors noticed flames in one of the windows at about 9:30 p.m., Trotwood Battalion Chief Rick Haacke told News Center 7.

No one was hurt and crews quickly knocked down the flames, which caused an estimated $10,000 damage to the single-story structure, Haacke said.

Investigators were called to determine the cause of the fire.
