Fire Strikes Home In Huber Heights

HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio —

Fire departments from Huber Heights and Dayton were called to a structure fire after a neighbor called 911 Thursday night.

The fire happened on the 7000 block of Harshmanville Road in Huber Heights.

When fire crews arrived at the scene, there was heavy fire. The homeowners were not home at the time.

Fire crews said there were two cats lost in the fire and that there was major structual damage.

The fire caused $70,000 worth of damage due to an exterior light in the back of the house, fire crews said.
