Fleeing Motorcyclist Finally Stopped On I-75 In Troy, Arrested

TROY, Ohio —

An Indiana motorcycle rider eluded a West Milton police officer, police say, then forced a Tipp City policeman to terminate his pursuit Saturday morning, only minutes later he got boxed in and brought to a halt on northbound Interstate 75 by Troy police.

Taylor D. Roustio, 19, of Frankfort, Ind., formerly of Clayton, Ohio, was cited on a charge of traveling 98 mph in the 45 mph zone in West Milton. He was also charged with felony fleeing and eluding by Tipp City police. Roustio was turned over to Tipp City police by Troy officers, then booked into the Miami County Jail and his motorcycle was impounded.

Speeds were in excess of 100 mph while weaving through traffic said police.

No one was injured in the incident.
