Related

CENTERVILLE, Ohio —

Officials with Vectren Energy said beginning April 3, work will begin at four different locations along their major gas transmission line in Centerville. Work is planned to be performed over a 4-week period, one location at a time.

Depending on location, work includes excavation of the roadway, curb, sidewalk and tree lawn. Vectren is required to post and maintain all traffic control required during the construction work.

The locations and work required include:

Clyo Road: approximately 0.4 miles south of Franklin Street. Work will require that the road be closed beginning April 3 for four to five days. Vectren will establish a detour route using Spring Valley Road, South Main Street and East Franklin Street.

West Spring Valley Road: just east of the entrance to Stubbs Park. Work will require that the westbound lane of the road be closed. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times. Work at this location is expected to begin April 10 and last for four to five days.

South Main Street: just north of Revere Village Drive. Work will require the southbound curb lane to be closed during the day and opened overnight. Work at this location will begin the work of April 17 and last two to three days.

Centerville Station Road: east of Bigger Road. Work will require that the westbound lane of the road be closed. Work at this location is expected to begin the week of April 24 and last four to five days.
