Four Charged In Clark County Jail Escape

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio —

Sheriff's deputies say John Lee Greathouse Jr., escaped from the jail Saturday evening and was on the loose for several hours.

Greathouse has been charged with escape and vandalism.

Two other inmates were also charged with helping him escape. 19 year old Tyson James Hahn and 20 year old Phillip Lee Stevens have all been charged with complicity to escape and vandalism.

Sheriff's deputies say the two inmates are accused of holding up the fence so Greathouse could climb under.

37 year old Dana Beechler of Springfield was also charged with complicity. He was found hiding with Greathouse in a home.

All four are scheduled back in court on the new charges on September 4th.
