Staff Report

MIAMI VALLEY —

A Frost Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Monday for the entire viewing and listening area.

Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Rich Wirdzek said conditions for frost were nearly perfect, with clear skies and calm winds. He said there was widespread frost reported around the area Monday morning.

“Lots of sun will get us back to the mid-60s this afternoon, he said. “But that is still about 10 degrees below normal for late September.”

Wirdzek said with milder air, the next chance for rain arrives Tuesday.

“A few showers to start the trend, sometime in the afternoon, said Wirdzek. “A better chance for rain and a few thunderstorms tomorrow night and through the day on Wednesday.”
