Greenville firefighters raise money for foster children

GREENVILLE, Ohio —

Greenville firefighters took to the downtown streets of Greenville on Friday to raise money to help provide for the children of Darke County under foster care.

The money raised will mean Christmas and more for two dozen disadvantaged children thanks to the generosity of the community.

The firefighters held their annual boot drive for foster children in Darke County. It was held at the intersection of Broadway and Fourth Street just like it has for the past 16 years.
