Gunshot Victim Found Along Greene Co. Highway

XENIA, Ohio —

Investigators in Greene County said a truck driver spotted a man bleeding from gunshot wounds overnight.

Deputies said that the man was found in an emergency turnaround along Route 42 south of Xenia early Friday morning. Investigators are now trying to figure out how the man got there and who shot him.

According to deputies, it appeared the man had been shot several times, with most of his wounds to his legs. Deputies searches nearby ditches and other surrounding areas for evidence.

Medics took the man to Miami Valley Hospital, where the victim may have to undergo surgery.

The shooting remains under investigation.
