Hamburger secret to woman's 104 year longevity

TROY, Ohio —

It appears to me, a century-plus-four-year-old Miami County woman's longevity is due to a hamburger and a healthy sprinkle of salt on her French fries.

That woman is Mildred Williams0n.

Since 1938, Mildred has enjoyed a hamburger and fries at K's Hamburger Shop in downtown Troy on her March 23rd birthday.

She washed the food down with a cup of coffee.

As she opened a serving of cream and poured it into her coffee, Mildred said, "I wish the cows were that easy to milk," referring to her days on the family farm.

She sat in a corner booth at K's at the center of attention over lunch hour on Friday while she was entertained by Spittin' Image, a local singing duo from Greenville.  With Blain on one side and identical twin brother Brian Swabb on her other side, they sang Happy Birthday and several other songs, exchanging hugs and pecks on the cheek several times.

See you next year Mildred, March 23, 2013 at K's.
