Hamilton Robbery Suspect Caught in N.J.

HAMILTON, Ohio —

A Hamilton man wanted on aggravated burglary charges was arrested Thursday in New Jersey, according to the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

Ronald E. Lochr is accused of robbing the First Financial Bank in Seven Mile on March 25. He is also a suspect in other robberies in the city of Hamilton and Hamilton County.The Sheriff's Office said Lochr may also face some charges in New Jersey.

A New Burlington, N.J., officer spotted Lochr as he was attempting to board a train bound for Camden, N.J., and apprehended him, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office said.

Lochr will remain in custody in New Jersey until their charges and the extradition to Ohio process is completed.
